| I went to see a movie the other night
called "Finding Forrester". It was a very inspirational movie to someone
who has attempted to do some writing. It made me realise that my 'Stories' page has
been collecting a lot of dust bunnies. The last time I wrote anything story-wise,
was over a year ago. That is way too long. Writing can be exhilarating once you get some inertia happening. Especially if it is a story that seems to take on a life of it's own. I wrote a story a while back (which isn't posted here). When I got to the climax, where the protagonist makes his escape from the trap he was in, I remember that I couldn't type fast enough. The words were just flowing out of me like a river. I had the image of what was happening in my mind and I had a tough time slowing it down so that I could describe it in words. Yeah, it's been way too long. It's time to find a couple hours here and there to get back into it. |
