Announcing the "Shoot Dave Into Space" campaign.

I'm attempting to raise $30.8 million in Canadian funds so that I can go visit the International Space Station.  But I can't do it alone.  I need everyone to chip in.  Therefore, I am as of now accepting pledges to raise the funds needed for the trip.

Now I'm sure that all of you, at one point or another, would have liked to see me attached to a highly explosive rocket and shot into space.  Well now's your chance!

Now, I don't intend to collect on any of the pledges until I reach the $30.8 million, so if you feel you can't afford your pledge now, don't worry.  It will probably be a while before I reach the target, so you have time to save up.

So whether it be pledges for pennies, dollars, hundreds, or thousands of dollars - email me with the amount you would like to pledge.  Every penny counts so don't delay!
