Biography
What can I say about me... I was raised in the city of Castlegar which is in the south eastern part of British Columbia, Canada. It was a great place to grow up, and no matter where I go, it will always be my home away from home. I lived in Castlegar until I moved to go to the University of Victoria where I earned a bachelor of science degree in computer science. I enjoyed university and learned important skills for my impending career. But after a total of 18 years in various schools, I was glad to be done. Near the end of my university days, I started dating a wonderful girl named Bonnie. I can honestly say that the single happiest moment in my life was when I proposed and heard her say 'Yes'. (I was only a little worried afterwards when she got dizzy and almost fainted) There were a few moves after university. First to Vancouver, to be with Bonnie. I got a job doing what I love - building computer programs. Bonnie at the time was earning a pharmacy degree at UBC. Near the end of her schooling, we moved to White Rock, so I could be closer to the place I work. When Bonnie finished school, we moved to Cranbrook, so that she could start her first job as a pharmacist. While I was still working for the same employer in White Rock (telecommuting rules!), I started my own ventures into freelance computer programming. After a year, we decided that Cranbrook wasn't for us, so we packed up and moved to Kelowna. This was also the time of our wedding, which was a great time. It was great to have all of our family and friends together in one place to celebrate with us. So now we're in Kelowna. Both of use are quite busy with work, but we try to take time out to enjoy the fun things. |
