Next week is TV Turnoff Week.  From April 22nd to April 28th, there is a movement to get people to turn off their TVs.  There's more info at http://www.adbusters.org/ or at http://www.tvturnoff.org/.  Bonnie and I are trying it this week (she hasn't tried to kill met yet, so we're doing good so far).   I've included video games in my self denial, cause they suck my brain away more than the TV does.  We're started yesterday and are going to avoid the TV until Sunday.  Now, I'm not sure if this is considered cheating, but we've got the VCR recording our favourite shows so that we can watch them on Sunday.  I have a feeling we're going to overdose on TV on Sunday.  No, it's not cheating because we're still spending six whole days not sitting in front of the brain sucking device.  I'll try to update this page next Monday to let you know how it went.
