What's new?

Borrowed the Star Wars trilogy on DVD from my brother and watched them.  It was nice seeing them on a DVD quality format.  I was a little miffed at a couple of the changes they made though.  First, in ESB, they changed the whole conversation that Vader had with the Holo-Emperor.  And at the end of ROTJ, when Luke saw Yoda, Kenobi, and his father shimmering before him, they changed Anakin to be a long-haired version of Anakin in AOTC.  That just bugs me.  Should have left things the way they were.

Apparently, I share a chromosome or two with Noah Webster, the writer of the dictionary we all know and love.  My great-aunt has an article of some sort that says that my great-grandmother on my mom's side is the grand-niece of Noah Webster.  Haven't seen the article myself, so I have no idea of any of the details, but if I find out more, I'll let you know.

Corbin is understanding more and more words.  It was as if one day he slapped his head and thought "Oh, I get it, all those noises they make mean things.   Duh!"

Work has been picking up as of late.  Summer was a little slow, so it is nice.

Thought about upgrading to a duplex, but decided not too.  In the process, we found out we could sell our house for a hell of a lot more than we paid for it.

Back into Karate after a summer (and most of spring) off.  Feels good.  Sore, but good.
